Latama Square Button Switchblade Kris Bladed PROTOTYPE. Measures 11".
Blade has seen some light sharpening with a rough stone. Front scale has
delamination. Not a mint knife, but an exceedingly rare knife. Less
than a dozen were made after Latama secured a patent on both the Kris blade
style AND the square button mechanism. The square button mechanism never
went into production because of difficulties in the amount of hand fitting
required, and it is a very weak design. Included are 4 pages from
Switchblades of Italy by Tim Zinser, Dan Fuller, and Neal Punchard. $11,500
